About zenara
India's only animal shelter dedicated to paralyzed stray animals
Our Story
zenara (Voice of Stray Animals) was founded in 2014 with a simple yet powerful mission: to give a voice to the voiceless and provide care for the most vulnerable animals on our streets.
What started as a small effort by a group of animal lovers has grown into India's only specialized shelter for paralyzed stray animals. We've rescued over 500 dogs and provided them with medical care, rehabilitation, and love.
Our journey has been challenging but incredibly rewarding. Every dog that walks again, every adoption that brings joy to a family, and every life we touch drives us to do more.
